Chris Iemulo is one of the best creative guitar improviser and composer of the new generation. His fascinating duet with Berlin's famous guitar wizard Olaf Rupp is documented on "Twelve's", a great CD issued on italian label Setola di maiale (sm 1190). He plays in the Crash Trio with Bologna tenor saxophone hero Edoardo Marraffa and percussion stalwart & Setola di M. boss Stefano Giust in a frenzied and dynamic interplay. "Live in Crash" ( sm 1210) is an actual proof of Crash 3's subtle and ebullient style. On 26 February Chris Iemulo will play a consistent program of solo guitar involving unusual harmonies and extended techniques.
J-M Van Schouwburg has created his own unique soundworld, based both on extended voice / mouth explorations and astonishing vocal capabilities.
M A L a/k/a Marco Loprieno (tenor sax and frumpet) is playing wind instruments and electronics in different groups (Trio Train, Tuba Libre).
